Belle Haven is located on the peninsula of the San Francisco Bay Area, in the namesake “Belle Haven” neighborhood of Menlo Park. The city borders wetlands and the San Francisco Bay, and is located at the gateway to technology-based Silicon Valley. The median income of families feeding into the school ranges from homeless to low-middle class.
 
One of the characteristics of Belle Haven is its diverse population. Approximately 12% of the students are African-American, 77% of students are Latino, and 10% are Pacific Islander. A large number of our students come from families of recent immigrants. As such, a high percentage of our students are classified as English Learners (approximately 56%).
 
The staff at Belle Haven is also very diverse. Our staff reflects the ethnicities, languages, and racial backgrounds of our students. We have staff that have come from this actual community or similar communities. As such, they have the
expertise and sensitivities to support our students and families in being successful. Our team of educators strive to educate, empower, and enrich the lives of every student, as well as to support the educational needs of our families.
