The Belle Haven Maker Space is open for students during lunch, after school and for classroom visits. Students can explore on their own making projects from random materials, programming robots, sewing crafts, and letting their creativity blossom. It is staffed by our own resident Tinkerer.

Students spend 2 periods each week with the Health & Wellness teachers learning strength & flexibility, relaxation and other healthy body and mind techniques to reduce stress and enhance readiness for learning.

Students in grades 6 to 8 have the opportunity to participate in after school sports leagues and compete against other schools in the area in:
  • Volleyball
  • Soccer
  • Flag Football

"Music in the Schools" brings regular music instruction to Belle Haven Students.

Two boys presenting their science fair project board.The Annual Ravenswood City School District Science Fair allows students to showcase what they have learned in the hands-on projects they develop in small groups.  Winners from the District Science Fair go on to the San Mateo County competition, and some even advance to the regional and California state competitions.
